Chào cô và các bạn, hôm nay mình xin trình bày về thực trạng ô nhiễm môi trường nước hiện nay.
Hiện nay ở Việt Nam, mặc dù các cấp, các ngành đã có nhiều cố gắng trong việc thực hiện chính sách và pháp luật về bảo vệ môi trường, nhưng tình trạng ô nhiễm nước là vấn đề rất đáng lo ngại, gây bức xúc trong dư luận xã hội cả nước. Vấn đề này ngày càng trầm trọng, đe doạ trực tiếp sự phát triển kinh tế - xã hội bền vững, sự tồn tại, phát triển của các thế hệ hiện tại và tương lai.
Sau đay, mình sẽ trình bày một vài thực trạng đáng quan tâm trong thời gian gần đây

- Ô nhiễm nguồn nước dẫn đến hiện tượng cá chết hàng loạt:
+ Tại các tỉnh ven biển miền Trung
Từ đầu tháng 4, cá nuôi lồng bè của người dân gần khu kinh tế Vũng Áng đồng loạt chết. Hiện tượng này sau đó lan dọc hơn 200 km bờ biển từ Kỳ Anh tới Lăng Cô. Theo thống kê, bốn tỉnh ven biển phát hiện gần 70 tấn cá tự nhiên chết dạt bờ.
Nguyên nhân:
Một là do tác động của độc tố hoá học thải ra từ hoạt động của con người trên đất liền và trên biển.
Hai là do hiện tượng thủy triều đỏ.


+ Dọc theo sông Bưởi:

từ sáng 4/5, sông Bưởi nước đổi màu đen lục, sủi bọt, bốc mùi hôi thối khiến cá chết hàng loạt (cả cá tự nhiên và cá nuôi) Đến 10h ngày 7/5, tổng lượng cá chết của các hộ nuôi cá lồng là gần 17,4 tấn, ở 73 lồng. Có 32 hộ nuôi cá lồng bị chết hoàn toàn.

- Hơn 90% dân Bà Bịa - Vũng Tàu hứng chịu nước thải
Đường ống dẫn nước thải bị vỡ kèm theo mùi hôi thối giống như thuốc tẩy ngâm lâu ngày. Việc xả nước thải chưa qua xử lý này là của công ty MeiSheng Textiles Việt Nam dẫn tới  việc người dân bị đầu độc bởi nước thải này nằm đầu nguồn nước của hồ Đá Đen - nơi cung cấp 90% nước sinh hoạt cho dân số tỉnh BR-VT.
* Một vài ví dụ trên cho thấy nguồn nước hiện nay đang bị ô nhiễm nặng nề. Đã ảnh hưởng không nhỏ đến kinh tế, sức khỏe cũng như chất lượng cuộc sống của người dân.
