Thứ nhất AWS là gì?
nó là một dịch vụ của bọn Amazon. Nó là dựa trên nền tảng cloud computing. bạn nào chưa biết có thể đọc thêm bài cloud computing là gì của mình. Hiện tại, AWS đang miễn phí một năm đầu cho rất nhiều dịch vụ như EC2, S3, DDB, IoT… là gì thì tý mình sẽ nói rõ. AWS được chia thành những group những dịch vụ như – compute, storage, database, network. bạn có thể xem rõ hơn ở dưới.

Vì thời gian mình tìm hiểu cũng ngắn, mục đích bài viết này là chia sẻ để ai chưa dùng, ngại sẽ có hứng thú trải nghiệm, nó miễn phí một năm đâu mà. Bạn lo gì?
EC2 là gì?
Một trong những dịch vụ đầu tiên mình tìm hiểu ở thằng này là EC2, thực ra thằng EC2 này chính là dịch vụ VPS, khái niệm này thì quá quen với anh em làm IT rồi nhỉ. Có khá nhiều localtion cho các bạn lựa chọn, gần nhất là Nhật Bản. Một số lưu ý khi dùng thằng EC2: khi đã tạo xong instance và run nó, bạn sẽ được download về 1 file .pem, đây chính file bạn cần lưu lại để login sau này. Về cách dùng file pem để login thì tùy OS của bạn, Ví dụ là linux thì chỉ cần thông qua SSH thông qua lệnh là ok luôn, với hệ điều hành windows thì bạn dùng puttyGen để gen ra file ppk.
Một điểm lưu ý nữa khi dùng dịch vụ của AWS là bạn phải thiết lập Security Groups để tùy chỉnh rule có quyền request đến các instance. Lúc đầu sau khi tạo được EC2 rồi nhưng mình không access được, tìm hiểu mới biết vì mặc định AWS không mở cho all IP.

RDS, DynamoDB là gì?
RDB là relation DB service, DDS là DynamoDB service. Đây là 2 trong khá nhiều dịch vụ của AWS cho database.
RDS kiểu như mysql mà bạn hay làm hằng này. Thằng này hỗ trợ 6 loại DB phổ biến nhất hiện nay gồm Amazon Aurora, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL và MariaDB.

Lúc nghiên cứu thằng này mình sử dụng workbench để connect đến SQL server, bạn có thể dùng một trong 2 tool khá nổi tiếng là workbench và navicat (có bản miễn phí và trả phí). DynamoDB giành cho noSQL.
Cái này mình dự đình tìm hiểu trong thời gian tới, nhưng theo thông tin từ trang của AWS thì cũng có vẽ hấp dẫn. Nó chuyên về noSQL. Các bạn đọc thêm tại địa chỉ http://aws.amazon.com/documentation/dynamodb/
S3 – Simple Storage Service
Anh chàng này cũng khá thú vị, đây là công cụ lưu trữ file trực tuyến. Hiện tại mình đang làm việc với thằng này nhiều nhất (yêu cầu từ khách hàng). Nó cung cấp cả giao diện để quản lý file cũng như API cho những bạn developer.

Điểm mạnh của thằng này là cho phép lưu không giới hạn với max file size lên đến 5G, đường truyền truy cập tại Việt Nam cũng nhanh. Bạn nào đang làm website về hình ảnh, lưu trữ file nội bộ, tài liệu.. có thể nghiên cứu thằng này. Về phần API của S3 thì cũng khá đơn giản, dễ đọc. Bạn có thể dùng S3 như 1 static file hosting (lưu trữ những file tĩnh). Ngoài ra bọn này cho phép bạn phân quyền, tạo ra token để giới hạn việc truy cập file đó trong 1 khoảng thời gian ngắn… Cũng như nhiều dịch vụ khác, thằng này cũng có Security groups..
Một service nữa mình chưa có điều kiện tìm hiểu, những rất triển vọng là IoT, mình nợ các bạn bài sau về thằng này.

Mình mất khoảng 1$ để xác nhận tài khoản và được dùng tất cả các dịch vụ của AWS một năm đầu tiên. Nói là miễn phí nhưng phải công nhận cấu hình của tier miễn phí cũng rất ngon. Ví dụ EC2 cho bạn Ram 1G, 1CPU / tháng, Tức là bạn có thể tạo 1 instance chạy 1 tháng, hoặc 2 instance chạy nửa tháng. Fair phết. Mình nghĩ là từng đó thời gian đủ cho bạn tìm hiểu để có một level nhất định về AWS, vậy tại sao không thử???
