Ý nghĩa lý luận
Đề tài góp phần làm phong phú thêm hệ thống cơ sở dữ liệu cho việc phân tích lý luận về dịch vụ CTXH đối với NBTT đang được nuôi dưỡng tại trung tâm Điều dưỡng người tâm thần tỉnh Quảng Nam. Đây còn là nguồn tài liệu tham khảo cho các nghiên cứuTương tự sau này.
Ý nghĩa thực tiễn
Nâng cao nhận thức của cộng đồng đối với vấn đề NBTT hiện nay
Giải quyết thực trạng việc áp dụng dịch vụ CTXH đối với NBTT nói chung và NBTT đang được nuôi dưỡng tại các Trung tâm điều dưỡng người tâm thần nói riêng.
Kiến nghị về những bất cập của cơ chế chính sách đối với NBTT.
Xã hội hóa ngành CTXH, thực hiện tốt chính sách BTXH và an sinh xã hội.

Study subject : NBTT đang được nuôi dưỡng tại trung tâm
Đề tài tiến hành khảo sát 52 đối tượng NBTT trên tổng số 109 ĐTXH hiện đang được nuôi dưỡng tại trung tâm.

Time: The time of survey was from 02/2016 to 06/2016.
Location: Quang Nam clinical center for people with mental (Tam Ngoc Ward, Tam Ky City, Quang Nam Province).

G.1. Bản chất của nghiên cứu
- Nghiên cứu trên cơ sở duy vật biện chứng: từ những đánh giá thực trạng về đời sống của NBTT, thực trạng của dịch vụ công tác xã hội đối với NBTT tại trung tâm, rút ra những lý luận và đưa ra được những đề xuất về biện pháp hoàn thiện dịch vụ công tác xã hội đối với NBTT trên địa bàn tỉnh.
- Nghiên cứu vấn đề lý luận trong hệ thống: nghiên cứu hệ thống những lý thuyết có liên quan trực tiếp đến đề tài, hệ thống các yếu tố có liên quan như dịch vụ hỗ trợ của dịch vụ công tác xã hội đối với NBTT hệ thống chính sách trợ giúp xã hội đối với NBTT.
G.2. Đối tượng tham gia và phương pháp chọn mẫu
Đối tượng nghiên cứu của đề tài : NBTT đang được nuôi dưỡng tại trung tâm
Đề tài tiến hành khảo sát 52 đối tượng NBTT trên tổng số 209 ĐTXH hiện đang được nuôi dưỡng tại trung tâm ; 10/ 44 cán bộ viên chức đang làm việc tại trung tâm ; 05 người nhà của NBTT.
