- Tôn giáo: Thực hiện tốt công tác quản lý nhà nước đối với tất cả các hoạt động của các tổ chức, chức sắc, chức việc, tín đồ các tôn giáo trong tỉnh trên cơ sở phân cấp quản lý phù hợp; nhằm vừa đáp ứng nhu cầu sinh hoạt tôn giáo chính đáng của nhân dân. Nhanh chóng đưa các hoạt động của các tôn giáo vào quản lý theo đúng quy định của pháp luật. Thường xuyên theo dõi, nắm chắc tình hình và xử lý kịp thời những diễn biến phức tạp mới nảy sinh, kịp thời khắc phục những tồn tại đi đôi với đề cao vai trò trách nhiệm của chính quyền cơ sở, củng cố nâng cao chất lượng hoạt động của hệ thống chính trị ở cơ sở. Thực hiện tốt chính sách đại đoàn kết toàn dân tộc, nâng cao đời sống tinh thần, vật chất của nhân dân. Xây dựng đội ngũ cốt cán làm công tác tôn giáo trong vùng đồng bào có đạo, tranh thủ những người có uy tín trong tôn giáo; giáo dục tình đoàn kết giữa người theo đạo và không theo đạo, đề cao cảnh giác và đấu tranh có hiệu quả với những âm mưu, thủ đoạn của các thế lực lợi dụng tôn giáo để chống phá sự nghiệp cách mạng của Đảng và Nhà nước ta.
Tiếp tục củng cố tổ chức bộ máy và cán bộ chuyên trách làm công tác tôn giáo từ tỉnh đến cơ sở, đi đôi với tăng cường đào tạo bồi dưỡng về chuyên môn nghiệp vụ và có chính sách đãi ngộ đối với những cán bộ này.
