Với mục đích nêu trên, báo cáo khảo sát và nghiên cứu ngành dệt may Việt Nam năm 2013 tập trung vào 4 nội dung sau:
(i) Phân tích mối tương quan giữa dệt may Việt Nam với dệt may thế giới theo hướng tiếp cận chuỗi cung ứng toàn cầu;
(ii) Dự đoán những xu hướng phát triển của dệt may thế giới trong thời gian tới và sự dịch chuyển của chuỗi cung ứng dưới tác động của TPP;
(iii) Phân tích hiện trạng của dệt may Việt Nam; và
(iv) Đề xuất hướng đi cho dệt may Việt Nam.
Các vấn đề trên có mối quan hệ biện chứng với nhau bởi:
a) Dệt may Việt Nam đã và đang là một bộ phận của dệt may thế giới, gắn kết với chuỗi cung ứng dêt may toàn cầu, chịu sự tác động và điều tiết của dệt may toàn cầu thông qua chuỗi cung ứng. Cụ thể như sau:

With the above mentioned purposes, the survey report and the Vietnam textile research 2013 focus on the 4 following:
(i) analyze the correlation between the Vietnam garment and textiles in the world approach to global supply chains;
(ii) predicting the development trend of textiles in the world in the near future and a shift of supply chains under impact of TPP;
(iii) analyze the current state of Vietnam; and
(iv) suggest directions for Vietnam.
The problem on dialectical relationship with each other by:
a) Vietnam has been and is a division of textiles in the world, mounted with dêt global sewing supply chain, subject to the Act and the regulation of the global textiles through the supply chain. In particular the following:
