Sau hơn 30 năm đổi mới toàn diện kể từ năm 1986. Việt Nam đang tiến đến hội nhập kinh tế quốc tế hết sức sâu rộng với thế giới và khu vực cụ thể, Việt Nam gia nhập Tổ chức thương mại thế giới –WTO (2007); Diễn đàn hợp tác kinh tế Châu Á – Thái Bình Dương – APEC ()... và đặc biệt hình thành Cộng đồng Kinh tế ASEAN (AEC) vào cuối năm 2015- đây là bước ngoặt lớn đánh dấu sự hòa nhập toàn diện các nền kinh tế Đông Nam Á. Mục tiêu nghiên cứu của bài viết này sẽ đi sâu phân tích, so sánh làm rõ hoạt động thương mại Việt Nam với các nước ASEAN khi tham gia Công đồng Kinh tế ASEAN, đặc biệt trong lĩnh vực thương mại.
