Thông tin từ Sở Văn hóa, Thể thao và Du lịch Đà Nẵng, tổng lượt khách thăm quan du lịch thành phố từ đầu năm 2015 đến nay đạt gần 3,8 triệu lượt, tăng 23,6% so với cùng kỳ. Trong đó, khách quốc tế đạt trên 860.000 lượt, khách nội địa đạt gần 2,9 triệu lượt. Tổng thu từ du lịch đạt hơn 10 nghìn tỷ đồng. Trong thời gian tới, các hoạt động quảng bá điểm đến Đà Nẵng sẽ được tổ chức trong những hoạt động xúc tiến thị trường của Tổng cục Du lịch Việt Nam; tổ chức các đoàn tìm hiểu, khảo sát, tiếp thị cho lữ hành ở thị trường quốc tế.
