Cá rạn: Người đánh giá bơi dọc theo mặt cắt và đếm số lượng các nhóm cá trong mỗi đoạn 20m dài và 5 m rộng (100m2). Tổng số có 4 đoạn số liệu được thu trên 1 mặt cắt 100m. Các chỉ tiêu đánh giá gồm: cá bướm, cá mú >30cm, cá mú các loại, cá mú gù, cá mó gù, cá bàng chài gù, cá kẽm, cá hồng/róc, cá mó >20cm, cá thiên thần (nanh heo), cá dìa/giò.
