I. Lý do chọn đề tài:
Trong kháng chiến chống Pháp và Mỹ xâm lược (1945-1954), nhân dân A Lưới đã làm nên những chiến thắng vẻ vang, tô thắm thêm những trang sử hào hùng của dân tộc. Gắn liền với những chiến thắng đó là những chiến tích ghi dấu một thời oanh liệt của chiến tranh.Chiến tranh đã qua đi, những di tích vẫn còn đó. Xuất phát từ lòng yêu quê hương đất nước, lòng tự hào dân tộc, nhóm nghiên cứu đã chọn đề tài “Giới thiệu các di tích lịch sử cách mạng trên địa bàn huyện A Lưới”. Để góp một chút sức nhỏ trong việc tuyên truyền những giá trị cũng như giới thiệu các di tích lịch sử đó cho quảng đại quần chúng hướng đến phát triển du lịch về nguồn.
II. Phương pháp nghiên cứu:
- Sưu tầm nguồn tài liệu, phân tích và tổng hợp, xử lý tư liệu thu được.
- Đi khảo sát, điều tra thực tế.
B. NỘI DUNG:
Trong kháng chiến chống Pháp và Mỹ xâm lược (1945-1975), vùng đất A Lưới đã ghi dấu biết bao chiến công oai hùng. Làm nên những chiến công đó, là sự chiến đấu anh dũng, kiên cường của con người nơi đây, có thể kể đến, đó là anh hùng Hồ Vai, Kăn Lịch, Kăn Đơm...và thật thiếu sót nếu không nhắc đến những chứng tích lịch sử của một thời khói lửa, những minh chứng hùng hồn cho những năm tháng chiến tranh. Gói gọn trong đề tài, nhóm nghiên cứu xin giới thiệu một số di tích lịch sử cách mạng sau:
1. Di tích Đồi A Biah - Hồng Bắc:
Đồi A Biah (Đồi Thịt Băm, Hamburger hill, cao điểm 937) là di tích thuộc địa phận xã Hồng Bắc. Tại đây, sau thất bại trong Tổng tiến công Xuân Mậu Thân (1968), Mỹ điên cuồng mở nhiều đợt tấn công vào khắp các địa bàn Thừa Thiên-Huế, trong đó cuộc càn quét vào thung lũng A Lưới. A Biah trở thành biểu tượng chiến thắng, sự hy sinh xương máu của quân và dân ta. A Biah được xem là hình ảnh thu nhỏ của cuộc chiến tranh Việt Nam. Đồi A Biah nay trở thành di tích thu hút nhiều khách du lịchhoài niệm về chiến trường xưa,người trẻ muốn chinh phục và tìm hiểu về quá khứ hào hùng của cha ông.Di tích Đồi A Biah được công nhận là Di Tích Lịch Sử cấp tỉnh ngày 13/10/2006.
2. Địa đạo Động So - A Túc, Hồng Bắc:
Nằm trên dãy núi thuộc địa bàn xã Hồng Bắc, đây là cụm địa đạo để chuẩn bị cơ sở vật chất, khí tài cho chiến trường Miền Nam mà trước tiên là chiến dịch Xuân 1968. Sự xuất hiện của cụm địa đạo Động So – A Túc đã đáp ứng kịp thời các yêu cầu cao ở chiến trường miền Nam nói chung, Thừa Thiên Huế nói riêng, góp phần xứng đáng trong thắng lợi chiến dịch Xuân 1968. Cụm địa đạo Đông So - ATúc đã được Nhà nước công nhận là di tích lịch sử cấp Quốc gia năm 2005.
3. Động Tiên Công:
Thuộc địa phận xã Hồng Kim, huyện A Lưới, cách thị trấn A Lưới 5 km về hướng Nam. Là một hang đá tự nhiên, nằm ở độ cao 1091m, động nằm ở lưng chừng núi A Túc, gần con suối Tà Rinh, cách đường Hồ Chí Minh khoảng 500m.Trong cuộc Tổng tiến công Mậu Thân 68, bộ đội ta đã chọn động Tiên Công làm nơi ẩn náu những khi bom đạn Mỹ oanh tạc, đặc biệt là nơi cất giấu hàng hoá vũ khí an toàn và thuận lợi góp phần làm nên thắng lợi trong cuộc Tổng tiến công Xuân 68. Động Tiên Công đã được Nhà nước công nhận là di tích lịch sử cấp Quốc gia năm 2005.
4. Sân bay A Lưới.
Sân bay được xây dựng ngay giữa trung tâm Thị trấn hiện nay, đây là có vị trí chiến lược đặc biệt quan trọng về quân sự, kinh tế. Làm chủ được khu vực này thì hoàn toàn có thể kiểm soát được tình hình ở đây. Chính vì vậy Mỹ đã tiến hành xây dựng sân bay A Lưới vào tháng 8/1957. Sự tồn tại của sân bay đã gây không ít khó khăn, trở ngại cho cán bộ, bộ đội ta mà ảnh hương trực tiếp là đường Hồ Chí Minh. Ngày 09/01/1965 bộ đội ta đã bất ngờ đồng loạt nổ súng và chỉ trong 1 thời gian ngắn đã làm chủ được sân bay A Lưới. Từ trong chiến thắng ấy xuất hiện nhiều tập thể, cá nhân xuất sắc như: anh hùng vũ trang nhân dân Hồ Vai, Kăn Lịch.
6. Sân bay A So thuộc địa phận thôn Sam, xã Đông Sơn:
Sân bay A So thuộc xã Đông Sơn, huyện A Lưới cách đường Hồ Chí Minh 2km về phía Đông
Năm 1966, bộ đội chủ lực địa phương phá hủy hoàn toàn sân bay này, một vùng rộng lớn phía Nam A Lưới được giải phóng, tạo điều kiện cho đường Hồ Chí Minh phát triển. Từ 1960 đến 1966 nơi đây đã diễn ra 2123 trận đánh lớn nhỏ, tiêu hao 2200 tên địch, hàng binh 705 tên. Sân bay A So được công nhận là di tích lịch sử cấp Quốc gia vào tháng 2 năm 2013.
7. Di tích Km0 đường B45A – Hồng Vân:
Nằm trên địa phận xã Hồng Vân, cách trị trấn A Lưới 16 km về hướng Bắc, đường B45 là đoạn đường nối từ đường Hồ Chí Minh (Đông Trường Sơn) tại ngã ba Hồng Vân (thôn Kêr dưới chân đèo Pe kêr) với La Hạp (Tây Trường Sơn) thuộc tỉnh Sê Kông nước bạn Lào. Là tuyến đường được Tiểu đoàn 29 công binh – Binh trạm 42 thi công nhằm phục vụ cho công cuộc vận chuyển hàng hóa, phương tiện quân sự cho chiến trường Trị - Thiên và Khu 5, đến tháng 4 năm 1967, đường B45A mới được mở thông và đưa vào sử dụng. 8. Di tích Dốc Mèo - Hồng Vân:
Nằm trên sườn núi Koh A Nông, thuộc địa phận xã Hồng Vân, cách đường Hồ Chí Minh 1km
là một trong những trọng điểm trên tuyến vận tải chiến lược đường Hồ Chí Minh, năm 1969 Bộ Tư lệnh Quân khu Trị Thiên Huế quyết định mở đường tránh Dốc con Mèo để phá vỡ thế độc quyền và phân tán mục tiêu đánh phá của địch, thông tuyến chi viện tốt cho các chiến trường,
đồng thời vẫn bảo đảm cho chiến dịch Xuân 1975. Đã được công nhận DTLS cấp Quốc gia ngày 20/5/1991.
9. Di tích Đồi Con Cọp - Hồng Vân.
Nằm ở sườn núi Koh A Nông, đây là một trọng điểm quan trọng trên tuyến đường Hồ Chí Minh, là hậu cứ tập kết vũ khí, quân trang, quân dụng của quân giải phóng trong kháng chiến của quân đội ta. Đã được công nhận DTLS cấp Quốc gia ngày 20/5/1991.
10. Di tích Km0 đường 71 – đường 14B, Hồng Vân.
Được mở vào cuối năm 1967, đầu năm 1968, đường 71 bắt đầu từ La Num (huyện A Lưới) nối với đường 14B ở km 74 – 75, qua Dốc Chè ở sườn Tây núi Cô Pung xuống Tam Dần đến Hòa Mỹ ( xã Phong Mỹ, huyện Phong Điền), có chiều dài hơn 70 km, đây là tuyến đường trọng điểm của ta để phát triển lực lượng xuống đồng bằng, Trong chiến dịch Xuân 1975, đường 71 phát huy tác dụng mạnh mẽ, là đường tiến quân của các đơn vị phía bắc Huế. Đã được Nhà nước công nhận là DTLS cấp Quốc gia ngày 20/5/1991.
11. Di tích Ngã ba Đường 72 – đường 14B thuộc 3 xã Phú Vinh, Hồng Thượng, Sơn Thủy:
Ngã ba đầu đường 72 - đường 14B và địa điểm Bốt Đỏ, nguyên trước đây là con đường mòn có từ thời Pháp, gọi là đường 49 (đường 12) đi từ Huế lên Bình Điền, Tà Lương, Bốt Đỏ, A Lưới. Trong kháng chiến chống Mỹ ta chủ trương lợi dụng con đường sẵn có này để phát huy lực lượng, tấn công xuống Huế khi có điều kiện. Được Nhà nước công nhận DTLS cấp Quốc gia năm 1993.
12. Di tích Ngã ba Đường 73 – đường 14B, Hương Phong:
Đường 73 là một đường xuất quân của các lực lượng ta trong chiến dịch giải phóng Thừa Thiên Huế xuân 1975. Năm 1972, Quân khu Trị Thiên quyết định mở con đường này thành đường cơ giới hướng xuống đồng bằng Nam Thừa Thiên và nhằm phực vụ cho chiến dịch Xuân 1975. Được Nhà nước công nhận là DTLS cấp Quốc gia năm 1993.
13. Di tích Ngã ba Đường 74 – đường 14B, Hương Lâm.
Là 1/4 nhánh tiểu mạch về giải phóng đồng bằng Thừa Thiên Huế. Đường 74 được bắt đầu thi công vào giữa năm 1974. Mục tiêu của chúng ta khi mở đường 74 nhằm đưa vật chất, phương tiện, khí tài và lực lượng ta xuống Quốc lộ 1A, chuẩn bị cho hướng tiến công chủ yếu của ta trong chiến dịch Xuân Hè 1975. Được Nhà nước công nhận là DTLS cấp Quốc gia năm 1993.
14. Di tích Chỉ huy sở Binh trạm 42.
Là nơi ghi dấu những thành tích, những chiến công của các cán bộ chiến sỹ Binh trạm 42 đã tập trung chỉ đạo tổ chức lực lượng xây dựng cầu đường trên trục đường B45A, vận chuyển hàng hóa đảm bảo chi viện cho mặt trận Thừa Thiên. Và trong cuộc kháng chiến chống Mỹ cứu nước đã minh chứng cho sức mạnh của cuộc chiến đánh thắng mọi kẻ thù xâm lược, chứng minh sự lãnh đạo tài của Đảng Cộng sản Việt Nam. Di tích Chỉ huy sở Binh trạm 42 hiện đang được lập hồ sơ đề nghị công nhận di tích lịch sử quốc gia cấp đặc biệt.

Hiện nay trên địa bàn huyện A Lưới, có khá nhiều di tích lịch sử gắn liền với hai cuộc kháng chiến chống thực dân Pháp và đế quốc Mỹ xâm lược (1954-1975), trong phạm vi nhỏ của đề tài, nhóm chỉ hướng đến việc giới thiệu 13 di tích lịch sử cách mạng có ý nghĩa và đã được công nhận là di tích lịch sử cấp tỉnh, cấp quốc gia và cũng thông qua đề tài này, nhóm đã thu được một số kết quả sau:

Originally opened in late 1967 and early 1968, 71 road starts from La Num (A Luoi district) linking 14B at km 74-75, last in the Tea Steep slopes West Mountain Ms. Tam Dan Pung down to Hoa My (Phong My commune, Phong Dien district), with a length of over 70 km, this is our key routes to develop down delta force, in Spring 1975 campaign, effective road 71 strong, is way of units marching north of Hue. The State has been recognized as a national day DTLS 20.05.1991.
11. Monuments Fork Road 72 - 14B road 3 Phu Vinh commune, Hong Thuong, Shan Shui:
the first road junction 72 - 14B and place road boots Rouge, formerly natural trails with the French, known as sugar 49 (road 12) away from Hue to Binh Dien and Ta Luong, Red boots, A Luoi. 12. Monuments Fork Road 73 - 14B road, Huong Phong:
73 Road is a road production of military forces in the campaign to liberate us Hue spring 1975. In 1972, the Army of the Tri Thien decided to open this road into motorized road down south delta and Thua Thien to serve the Spring 1975 campaign recognized by the State as a national DTLS 1993.
13. Monuments Fork Road 74 - 14B road, Huong Lam.
A sub branch circuit 1/4 of liberation plain of Thua Thien Hue. 74 road construction was started in mid 1974. Our goal when opening the road 74 to provide material, vehicles, weapons and force me down Highway 1A, in preparation for the main direction of our progress Spring-Summer campaign in 1975. To be recognized by the State as a national DTLS 1993.
14. Monuments Command Infantry base station 42.
