Là công ty kiểm toán đầu tiên trên thị trường kiểm toán độc lập Việt Nam, sự ra đời và phát triển của Deloitte Việt Nam gắn liền với quá trình hình thành và phát triển của ngành kiểm toán độc lập.

Hãy cùng chúng tôi điểm lại các mốc thời gian quan trọng trong suốt 20 năm hoạt động của công ty:

- Ngày 13 tháng 5 năm 1991, công ty Kiểm toán Việt Nam (VACO), tiền thân của Deloitte Việt Nam ra đời

- Năm 1992, VACO kí văn bản hợp tác đầu tiên với Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited.

- Tháng 5 năm 1995, Ban lãnh đạo VACO đã đi đến quyết định có tính bước ngoặt trên chặng đường 20 năm phát triển của Deloitte Việt Nam, đó là bắt tay thành lập Liên doanh Kiểm toán VACO - Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu vào tháng 5/1995.

- Năm 1997, VACO chính thức trở thành thành viên và đại diện pháp lý của Deloitte tại Việt Nam. VACO trong những năm đó luôn duy trì vị thế là công ty kiểm toán đầu tiên và lớn nhất Việt Nam.

- Năm 2007, theo cam kết của Việt Nam với WTO trong lĩnh vực dịch vụ tài chính đối với ngành kiểm toán, các công ty kiểm toán thuộc loại hình doanh nghiệp nhà nước tiến hành chuyển đổi sở hữu sang không có vốn sở hữu của nhà nước. Trước đó, quá trình chuyển đổi của VACO được chuẩn bị từ năm 2002 (sau khi Hiệp định Thương mại Việt – Mỹ có hiệu lực) và tháng 5 năm 2007, VACO là công ty đầu tiên đã chuyển đổi thành công sở hữu. Ngay sau khi chuyển đổi, công ty này đồng thời chuyển sang mô hình quản lý mới (Công ty TNHH nhiều thành viên không có sở hữu Nhà nước), là thành viên đầy đủ của Deloitte toàn cầu và chính thức hoạt động dưới thương hiệu Deloitte Việt Nam.

Right after the conversion, the company simultaneously move to the new management model (many company members have no State ownership), full member of the global Deloitte and Deloitte Vietnam brand activities.

Let us review important milestones during the 20 years of operation of the company:

- May 13, 1991, Vietnam Auditing company (VACO), the predecessor of Deloitte Vietnam birth

- in 1997, VACO has officially become a member and legal representative of Deloitte in Vietnam. VACO in those years has maintained its position as the first auditing company and Vietnam's largest.

- In 2007, according to Vietnam's commitments to the WTO in the field of financial services for the audit sector, the auditor of categories SOEs undergoing transformation into ownership without state ownership. Earlier, the transition of the VACO is prepared from 2002 (after Vietnam Bilateral Trade Agreement - the US takes effect) and in May 2007, VACO is the first company to successfully transitioned ownership. Immediately after the conversion, the company also switched to the new management model (Company Private Limited has no state property), is a full member of the global Deloitte and officially operating under the brand Deloitte Vietnam.
