Hoàng Anh Gia Lai đã tài trợ vốn không lãi suất cho Chính phủ lào, xây dựng cơ sở hạ tầng để phục vụ cho Sea Game cũng như hàng loạt các công trình công cộng khác như sân bay, cầu đường, bệnh viện, trường học, nhà ở, khu vực hành chính của cộng đồng địa phương... Sự thành công của mô hình PPP càng được củng cố thêm bởi nền tảng mối quan hệ tốt đẹp về chính trị và kinh tế giữa Việt Nam với các nước láng giềng cũng như các nước đang phát triển trong khối ASEAN
