Ngày 15/8/2014, Hội thi Bí thư chi bộ giỏi đã được tổ chức tại hội trường lớn của xã Bình Thuận, huyện Đại Từ với sự tham dự của 20 gương mặt là bí thư, phó bí thư đến từ các chi bộ của xã. Đến dự với hội thư có các đồng chí lãnh đạo xã Bình Thuận; đại diện các Đoàn thể của xã, đại diện chi bộ các xóm và các trường học trên địa bàn xã nhà.
