Trong lĩnh vực đào tạo, chuyển giao công nghệ cho các bác sỹ phẫu thuật, Alcon đã tài trợ, hỗ trợ và phối hợp với Bệnh viện Mắt Trung ương, Đại học Y dược Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh thành lập hai Trung tâm Đào tạo Phẫu thuật viên Phaco tại Hà Nội và Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh với phạm vi đào tạo phẫu thuật viên trên cả nước. Tính đến tháng 03/2016, hai Trung tâm đã đào tạo được 136 học viên thuộc 92 bệnh viện trên cả nước, trong đó 81% học viên đến từ các bệnh viện tuyến quận/huyện. Hiện nay, hai Trung tâm này vẫn đang tiếp tục thực hiện các khóa đào tạo phẫu thuật Phaco và khoá học khác như vi phẫu, theo nhu cầu thực tiễn của các địa phương
