Chùa Bulguksa thuộc thành phố Gyeongju, là một trong những ngôi chùa cổ nhất Hàn Quốc trên 1.500 tuổi, được UNESCO công nhận là di sản văn hóa thế giới. Cho đến nay chùa Bulguksa còn lưu giữ nhiều giá trị lịch sử và tôn giáo của Hàn Quốc với 7 quốc bảo, trong đó nổi bật nhất là 2 bảo tháp bằng đá, 2 pho tượng Phật mạ đồng. Gần chùa có hang động Seokguram cũng được UNESCO công nhận là di sản văn hóa thế giới.
