Những lợi ích của CLIL
- Giới thiệu cho học sinh những khái niệm mới thông qua việc học một môn học bằng tiếng nước ngoài.
- Nâng cao khả năng sử dụng một cách thành thạo các thuật ngữ trong môn học.
- Tăng sự tự tin của học sinh khi sử dụng ngôn ngữ nước ngoài.
- Giúp cho học sinh tư duy bằng tiếng nước ngoài ngay từ đầu.
- Khuyến khích sự liên kết mạnh mẽ giữa giá trị cộng đồng và công dân.

Các mô hình CLIL:
Mô hình ‘CLIL’ thường được dùng để chỉ một loạt những tình huống và mô hình dạy học khác nhau. Một số trường học dạy các chủ đề môn chuyên như là một phần của khóa học ngoại ngữ.
