Bên cạnh việc học tập, học hỏi các kiến thức mới về khoa học máy tính, tôi cũng muốn tham gia các hoạt động tình nguyện nhằm giúp đỡ nhiều người trong xã hội và mang lại hạnh phúc cho họ. Một trong những hoạt động tình nguyện tôi mong muốn được tham gia là "Microsoft Technology Education and Learning Support (TEALS) Program". Đây là dự án mang đến cho những học sinh cấp 3 toàn nước Mỹ cơ hội được tiếp xúc với khoa học máy tính. Từ năm 2009, dự án này đã giúp hơn 100,000 học sinh tiếp cận với ngành khoa học máy tính. Yêu cầu cho dự án này chính là người tham gia cần có khả năng về lập trình và giao tiếp để có thể giúp những giáo viên cấp 3 xây dựng chương trình khoa học máy tính cho các em học sinh. Ngoài ra, tôi cũng thích tham gia vào dự án tình nguyện của "AI for Good". Chương trình này sẽ tạo điều kiện hỗ trợ cho mọi người có đam mê về trí tuệ nhân tạo có thể xây dựng thành 1 đội nhằm nghiên cứu và thực hiện các dự án về trí tuệ nhân tạo có ý nghĩa cho xã hội. Những yêu cầu của dự án là có kinh nghiệm cơ bản về trí tuệ nhân tạo, giao tiếp và thực hiện các bài nghiên cứu. Qua những dự án trên, tôi không những giúp đỡ được mọi người xong xã hội mà còn có cơ hội tiếp xúc với các nhà nghiên cứu hay những người có chung đam mê khoa học máy tính với mình. Từ đó, tôi có thể học hỏi được rất nhiều kinh nghiệm thực tiễn cần thiết cho tương lai sau này như khả năng giao tiếp, làm việc nhóm và các kiến thức chuyên môn. Bên cạnh đó việc thiết lập các mối quan hệ với mọi người trong chuyên ngành của mình sẽ giúp tôi có nhiều cơ hội để tìm kiếm cơ hội thực tập cũng như việc làm sau này.
