Sản xuất và cung cấp các loại giống

Sản xuất và cung cấp các loại giống cây thuốc, các loại dược liệu cho việc phát triển vùng trồng cây làm thuốc, phục vụ công tác YDHCT phòng và chữa bệnh trong Trang 24 nước, tham gia xuất khẩu. Đồng thời chuyển giao quy trình công nghệ nuôi trồng cây làm thuốc và các mô hình sản xuất giống, dược liệu.
- Quy hoạch và xây dựng các vườn cây thuốc cho các Trung tâm, bệnh viện, trạm xá và các cơ sở địa phương có nhu cầu sử dụng cây thuốc và phục vụ đào tạo, giảng dạy, giới thiệu các loài cây thuốc quý ở Việt Nam cho các đoàn tham quan, học tập. Đồng thời lưu giữ nguồn gen và giống cây thuốc đã có.
- Nghiên cứu và xây dựng quy trình sơ chế biến, quy trình chiết xuất và bảo quản dược liệu. Sơ chế và sản xuất các loại trà thuốc từ nguồn nguyên liệu sạch, an toàn và chủ động từ các đề tài nghiên cứu, tạo sản phẩm thuốc và thực phẩm chức năng phục vụ nhu cầu khám chữa bệnh và nhu cầu sản xuất thuốc Đông dược trong cả nước.

Trong thời gian qua, Trung tâm đã chủ trì nhiều đềtài/dự án các cấp liên quan đến lĩnh vực phát triển dược liệu ở Việt Nam. Nhiều công trình đã được ứng dụng vào thực tiễn.
- Đề tài cấp NN (KC.10.02) “Xây dựng một số quy trình sản xuất dược liệu sạch và chế biến sạch để bào chế một số chế phẩm chất lượng cao”. Quy trình trồng dược
liệu đạt tiêu chuẩn GAP cho 5 loại cây thuốc: Ьương quy, bạch chỉ, ngưu tất, actiso và cúc hoa vàng. 8 quy trình chế biến dược liệu sạch và 5 tiêu chuẩn d¬ược liệu sạch đó đ¬ược xây dựng và công bố áp dụng.
- Đề tài cấp Nhà nước: “Khai thác và phát triển các nguồn gen dược liệu Kim ngân và huyền sâm”- Đề tài phối hợp với Viện Y học cổ truyền quân đội.
- Đề tài cấp Viện: “Nghiên cứu một số biện pháp kỹ thuật trồng cà gai leo (Solanum hainanense Hance) đạt năng suất, chất lượng dược liệu cao tại Thanh Hóa tạo nguyên liệu sản xuất thuốc”.
- Đề tài cấp Viện: “Nghiên cứu trồng thử nghiệm cây cà gai leo tại Thanh Trì- Hà Nội”.
- Nghiên cứu xây dựng mô hình chọn giống cây thuốc chất lượng cao.

Trung tâm NC trồng và chế biến cây thuốc Hà Nội là đơn vị đã và đang chuyển giao các loại Đề tài/ Dự án KHCN cho các cơ quan, đơn vị, địa phương phát triển Dược liệu, xây dựng vùng trồng cây thuốc, tạo nguồn nguyên liệu làm thuốc:
- Dự án: “Ứng dụng khoa học công nghệ xây dựng mô hình nuôi trồng và chế biến cây dược liệu tại tỉnh Quảng Ninh”.
- Dự án: “Xây dựng mô hình trồng và chế biến dược liệu Bạch chỉ, Đinh lăng và Mạch môn tại tỉnh Vĩnh Phúc”.
