This is my first post here so I have to give you congratulations for this helpful forum. I am a student in a University of Electronics in Greece and I am designing a final project so as to graduate.
At this time I ve got 1 atmega2560, stk503 and stk500.
The problem that I am facing may sound to you as basic knowledge but i am still an immature designer and I need your help.
I have mounted the stk503 onto the stk500 and I turned on the power supply of the system. The led that shows the status of the system has green color so I am assuming that the connection of the 503 was done correctly. I have done firmware upgrade to the stk500. Afterwards I tried to load a program to the 2560 through the rs232 control but codevision (1.25.7) displayed me the following error:
STK500 Error entering programming mode.
Can you tell me what can I can do do overcome this.
Ps. The program I am trying to load has no errors, no warnings.
