Trường Đại học Sư phạm Hà Nội được thành lập ngày 11 tháng 10 năm 1951 theo Nghị định 276 của Bộ Quốc gia Giáo dục Việt Nam. Ngày 10/12/1993 theo Nghị định 97/CP của Chính phủ, Trường Đại học Sư phạm Hà Nội I là một trường thành viên thuộc Đại học Quốc gia Hà Nội. Theo Quyết định 201/QĐTT ngày 12/10/1999 của Thủ tướng Chính phủ, Trường Đại học Sư phạm tách khỏi Đại học Quốc gia Hà Nội thành Trường Đại học Sư phạm Hà Nội.

HistoryUniversity pedagogy Hanoi was established on 11 October 1951 according to the Decree of Ministry of education national 276 Vietnam. On December 10, 1993 by Decree No. 97/CP, University pedagogy Hanoi I is a member school of the National University of Hanoi. In accordance with decision QĐTT/201 on October 12, 1999 by the Prime Minister, the Pedagogical University separated from the Hanoi National University of Hanoi Pedagogical University.
