Du lịch sinh thái đang ngày càng trở thành nhu cầu và xu hướng của những người yêu

thích du lịch. Du lịch sinh thái đưa con người trở về gần gũi, hòa mình vào thiên nhiên hoang dã;

hoạt động du lịch nhưng vẫn bảo tồn tài nguyên thiên nhiên và bảo vệ cảnh quan môi

trường bền vững. Đề tài “Nghiên cứu, đề xuất xây dựng mô hình du lịch sinh thái tại khu

bảo tồn thiên nhiên Tà Kóu, huyện Hàm Thuận Nam, tỉnh Bình Thuận” sử dụng các

phương pháp thu thập số liệu, thông tin, phương pháp khảo sát thực địa, phương pháo

phỏng vấn, phương pháp ma trận phân tích SWOT, phương pháp mô tả. Trên cơ sở khai

thác các tiềm năng tự nhiên về cảnh quan, môi trường, sự đa dạng về tài nguyên tự nhiên

của hệ sinh thái rừng, động thực vật, và tài nguyên nhân văn về văn hoá tâm linh, văn hóa

truyền thống của khu vực; trên cơ sở khảo sát, đánh giá hiện trạng phát triển du lịch sinh

thái tại khu bảo tồn thiên nhiên Tà Kóu, dựa vào nguyên tắc của hoạt động du lịch sinh

thái, đề tài tập trung nghiên cứu xây dựng mô hình du lịch sinh thái, văn hoá tâm linh kết

hợp tại khu bảo tồn thiên nhiên Tà Kóu, với các giải pháp đồng bộ như: xây dựng các loại

hình, dịch vụ, các tuyến, điểm du lịch sinh thái hợp lý, phát triển nguồn nhân lực, phát

triển cơ sở vật chất, kỹ thuật song song với bảo vệ, tôn tạo tài nguyên môi trường rừng và

thu hút cộng đồng địa phương tham gia vào hoạt động du lịch nhằm nâng cao ý thức bảo

vệ môi trường của con người, tạo ra nguồn thu nhập để phục vụ công tác bảo tồn và đa

dạng hoá các loại hình du lịch của tỉnh Bình Thuận.
