Đồ án ứng dụng mô hình chữ ký số trong Thị trường điện Việt Nam là đồ án nâng cấp và hoàn thiện các hệ thống công nghệ thông tin trong Thị trường điện với mục tiêu từng bước tiến tới việc giao dịch và thanh toán điện tử trong Thị trường điện.
Khi sử dụng mô hình chữ ký số, các giao dịch thanh toán qua mạng internet sẽ trở nên an toàn hơn. Với tính chất chống chối bỏ của chữ ký số thì khi người dùng sử dụng chữ ký số ký lên một văn bản sẽ phải chịu hoàn toàn trách nhiệm với văn bản đó tương tự như với một văn bản giấy có chữ ký và con dấu của người đó.
Tuy nhiên, bài toán ứng dụng chữ ký số vào Thị trường điện đặt ra rất nhiều vấn đề khó khăn như: các hệ thống con trong Thị trường điện được xây dựng và vận hành khá phân tán; yêu cầu thiết bị sử dụng đa dạng và các hàm quản lý không được hỗ trợ rõ ràng cho phù hợp với Thị trường điện… Nhưng bằng sự nỗ lực của bản thân, tôi và nhóm nghiên cứu đã phát triển và xây dựng thành công bộ ứng dụng tích hợp chữ ký số vào Thị trường điện Việt Nam.
