Người đứng đầu Bộ Thông tin truyền thông khuyến cáo người dân không ăn hải sản trong vùng biển nghi bị ô nhiễm, song cũng tránh tẩy chay hải sản có nguồn gốc rõ ràng.

Trưa ngày 30/4, làm việc với chính quyền và các cơ quan báo chí thường trú tại tỉnh Quảng Bình, Bộ trưởng Thông tin Truyền thông Trương Minh Tuấn cho biết, Thủ tướng Nguyễn Xuân Phúc đã có thông điệp mạnh mẽ đến các thành viên Chính phủ và chỉ đạo quyết liệt tìm rõ nguyên nhân cá chết hàng loạt, sớm công bố. Nếu phát hiện nghi do tác nhân ô nhiễm môi trường tại vùng biển ven bờ thuộc các tỉnh Hà Tĩnh, Quảng Bình, Quảng Trị, Thừa Thiên - Huế và Đà Nẵng, các cơ quan chức năng cần xử lý nghiêm.
