Trong Lj lần này, thầy yêu cầu chúng tôi hãy nêu ra các phương pháp mà thầy đã áp dụng cho lớp tôi từ đầu học kì cho đến nay. Thầy mong muốn chúng tôi có thể nắm được những điều mà thầy đã cố gắng để tràu dồi cho chúng tôi. Theo như tôi nhận thấy thì thầy đã tổ chức và áp dụng cho chúng tôi rất nhiều phương pháp thông qua các hoạt động sau:


1. Thầy đưa ra 5 topic và yêu cầu lớp phải trình bày theo ba hình thức khác nhau tuần đầu tiên là trình bày cặp, tuần thứ 2 trình bày theo nhóm gồm 4 người trình bày poster, tuần thứ 3 trình bày theo nhóm gồm 6 người, trình bày power point.

2. Trong tuần đầy tiên, chúng tôi rất ngạc nhiên vì cách thức chia cặp của thầy rất mới và lạ đối với chúng tôi. Chúng tôi chưa từng được chia cặp như vậy. Đầu tiên thầy cho chúng tôi mỗi người một số nhất định từ 1-29. Người số 1 sẽ nói cặp với người số 15, người số 2 sẽ nói cặp với người số 16, cứ như vậy cho đến hết lớp và đó là cách chia của thầy.

3. Sau khi chia cặp, thầy sắp xếp vị trí làm việc cho các cặp, thầy yêu cầu tất cả các thành viên lên bảng và đứng theo cặp và làm việc với bạn của mình.

4. Cũng chia cặp nhưng ở các tuần sau thầy đã có những thay đổi nhất định, ở topic kế tiếp, sau khi đã xem xét bài LJ của các bạn thầy đã sắp xếp vị trí cho các cặp khác so với tuần trước. Thầy phân công khu vực thực hành nói cho từng cặp. Mỗi cặp đứng cách nhau một khoảng để không bị ảnh hưởng lẫn nhau.

5. Cách vài tuần thầy lại thay đổi cách chia cặp cho lớp. Thầy muốn các bạn sẽ làm việc với nhiều bạn mới và điều này cũng tạo điều kiện cho các bạn trong lớp được tiếp xúc và làm việc với nhau, tạo nên sự gần gũi và đoàn kết giữa các thành viên trong lớp.



6. Ở các tuần gần đây, sau khi các cặp làm việc với nhau khoảng 2, 3 phút thầy yêu cầu 2 cặp gần nhau hợp thành một nhóm 4 người và tiếp tục thực hành nói với nhau. Sau đó thầy yêu cầu mỗi nhóm cử ra một thành viên để trình bày.

7. Vẫn như cách nói cặp như trên nhưng ở tuần tiếp theo thầy lại yêu cầu các nhóm sau khi thực hành nói với nhau sẽ cùng nhau trình bày.

8. Qua tuần thực hành nói cặp lớp sẽ thực hành nói nhóm ( trình bày poster). Thầy yêu cầu cả lớp tự chia nhóm gồm 4 người để trình bày về topic.
9. Thầy yêu cầu poster ít nhất phải to bằng tờ lịch, phải có hình ảnh thể hiện nội dung bài học.

10. Thầy yêu cầu poster phải được làm cẩn thận, chữ phải to đủ để các bạn cuối lớp có thể nhìn thấy, hình ảnh phải bắt mắt, thể hiện được tính sáng tạo.

11. Thầy yêu cầu trong poster nên lấy hình ảnh thực tế, gần gũi trong cuộc sống của con người.

12. Thầy yêu cầu khi trình bày poster, mọi người phải trình bày nội dung bài kết hợp với việc giới thiệu poster của nhóm, tránh tình trạng nội dung bài không liên quan đến poster.

13. Sau khi trình xong poster thầy yêu cầu các nhóm nọp lại sản phẩm cho thầy, để thầy làm tài liệu cho các khóa sau hoặc trưng bày trong kho dữ liệu của khoa.

14. Ở tuần thứ 3 của mỗi topic là trình bày power point. Thầy đề nghị lớp tự chia nhóm, mỗi nhóm gồm 6 thành viên.

15. Thầy yêu cầu khi trình bày power point thì mỗi slide không được chứa nhiều chữ vì các nhóm đã đưa cả bài nói của mình vào slide, khi trình bày các bạn thường tập trung vào đọc hơn là nói.

16. Thầy yêu cầu tất cả các nhóm phải sử dụng hình ảnh thực tế trong bài trình bày của mình. Em nghĩ nếu sử dụng hình ảnh thực tế vào trong bài sẽ làm cho các bạn cảm thấy thú vị hơn. Ngoài ra các bạn còn tiếp thu được dễ dàng bài học vì hình ảnh thực tế đã gần gũi với họ trong cuộc sống.

17. Thầy đòi hỏi các bạn trong nhóm phải cùng làm việc với nhau. Các bạn trong nhóm phải nắm được tất cả nọi dung mà nhóm mình trình bày.

18. Trong khi các nhóm trình bày, thầy yêu cầu các nhóm khác phải theo dõi để đặt câu hỏi cho nhóm đó.

19. Thầy đã yêu cầu các bạn nên linh hoạt hơn trong việc đặt câu hỏi và trả lời giữa nhóm trình bày và các nhóm khác.

20. Sau khi các bạn đã hỏi và trả lời cho nhau, thầy đặt thêm câu hỏi cho nhóm trình bày. Nếu các bạn trong nhóm không trả lời được thầy yêu cầu các bạn khác trong lớp trả lời.

21. Ngoài các hình thức học tập và thực hành kĩ năng nói, thầy còn yêu cầu chúng tôi viết nhật kí học tập.

22. Nhật kí học tập được viết theo tuần.

23. Các tuần đầu, thầy yêu cầu viết tiếng Việt trước sau đó viết tiếng Anh sau. Thầy muốn tạo thêm thời gian cho các bạn quen dần với cách viết nhật kí học tập.

24. Các tuần sau, thầy yêu cầu viết tiếng Việt và tiếng Anh cùng lúc và gửi cho thầy. Yêu cầu này đòi hỏi chúng tôi phải thể hiện sự thành thạo của mình trong việc viết LJ.

25. Nội dung của Lj được thay đổi tùy thuộc vào các buổi học trong lớp, thầy yêu cầu chúng tôi phải ghi lại những nội dung và cách thức tỏ chức lớp học đã thực hiện ở các buổi học ở lớp.

26. Thầy yêu cầu chúng tôi nêu ra được những mặt tiến bộ và chưa tiến bộ trong việc nói tiếng Anh. Và chúng tôi phải nêu ra cách khắc phục những hạn chế của mình.

28. Ngoài các giờ học chính trên lớp thầy còn tổ chức thêm các giờ ngoại khóa để sinh viên thực hành nói tiếng Anh. Thầy đã liên hệ với các tình nguyện viên nước ngoài về trường đề cho sinh viên có cơ hội nói chuyện với người nước ngoài.

29. Ở các tuần đầu, thầy yêu cầu chúng tôi trình bày mỗi topic trong vòng 3 tuần, tuần đầu chúng tôi trình bày theo cặp, tuần thứ 2 trình bày poster và tuần thứ 3 chúng tôi trình bày power point. Nhưng ở các tuần gần đây, thầy đã yêu cầu chúng tôi trình bày cả 3 nội dung trên trong cùng một buổi học.

30. Thầy yêu cầu chúng tôi phải sử dụng MIC khi trình bày. Thầy mong muốn chúng tôi có thể trình bày một cách rõ ràng bài nói của mình, rõ âm khi nói để thầy có thể sửa cho chúng tôi khi chúng tôi mắc lỗi.

31. Thầy yêu cầu lớp cử một MC để giới thiệu các nhóm trình bày. Tạo cơ hội cho các bạn có năng khiếu dẫn dắt có thể phát huy được khả năng của mình.

34. Trong các giờ thực hành nói, những bạn nói yếu sẽ được thầy nhận xét và về nhà tập luyện. Thầy yêu cầu phải gửi lại file ghi âm cho thầy để thầy chỉnh sửa và nhận xét.
35. Về cách kiểm tra: thầy tổ chức kiểm tra theo từng nhóm trình bày poster. Thầy đặt câu hỏi cho mỗi cá nhân trả lời.
36. Thầy yêu cầu chúng tôi khi thực hành nói cả lớp phải đứng để dễ dàng tập trung vào bài hơn.
37. Thầy chọn các bạn có khả năng nói tiếng Anh tốt để làm ban cố vấn cho lớp. Ban cố vấn sẽ giúp các thành viên trong lớp tiến bộ trong việc học nói Tiếng Anh.

38. Thầy yêu cầu chúng tôi phải chia lại nhóm 4 và nhóm 6. Mỗi nhóm phải có ít nhất một thành viên trong ban cố vấn. Thầy yêu cầu các bạn trong ban cố vấn phải giúp đỡ các bạn còn yếu tiến bộ hơn.
