The Undergraduate Student Association supports more than two hundred academic, service-related, international, and multicultural clubs and organizations at UB. These organizations are a critical component of life and learning on campus, providing students with ways to get meaningfully involved with the issues of the day. The University Union Activities Board plans social events, programs daily films in the Student Union, and organizes the annual Spring Fest and Fall Fest concerts on campus. In addition, the university's Distinguished Speakers Series brings renowned leaders to campus each semester. Recent visitors include Stephen Colbert, the Dalai Lama, Al Gore, Toni Morrison, Colin Powell, and Jon Stewart.Living and learning communitiesUB has many residential choices, including on-campus apartments and traditional residence hall living. UB also offers special housing areas for students who share similar interests. There are residence hall areas for first-year students, Academies-based residence hall communities, Honors and Daniel Acker Scholars communities, and areas for students who share the same academic major.Just consider UB, a small town that you can call home.
