1. Thưa! Với chủ đề “Sống để chia sẻ”, Trung ương Hội chữ Thập đỏ Việt Nam phối hợp với Hiệp hội Chữ thập đỏ và Trăng lưỡi liềm đỏ quốc tế, ngày 13.10, đã tổ chức Lễ mít tinh hưởng ứng Ngày quốc tế phòng chống và giảm nhẹ thiên tai, đồng thời công bố Báo cáo thảm họa thế giới 2016.

Theo Báo cáo thảm họa thế giới 2016 của Hiệp hội Chữ thập đỏ và Trăng lưỡi liềm đỏ quốc tế, năm 2015 có tới 98,6 triệu người bị ảnh hưởng bởi thiên tai, thảm họa trên toàn cầu, trong đó 92% gây ra bởi biến đổi khí hậu, nhất là tình trạng hạn hán. Việt Nam là một trong 5 quốc gia chịu ảnh hưởng nặng nề nhất bởi thiên tai và biến đổi khí hậu. Hiện nay, Hội chữ Thập đỏ Việt Nam đã thành lập Phòng điều hành ứng phó thảm họa và đội ứng phó thảm họa cấp quốc gia, kết nối 31 đội ứng phó thảm họa cấp tỉnh, trên 200 đội ứng phó thảm họa cấp xã. Các cấp Hội chữ Thập đỏ Việt Nam đã trồng, chăm sóc hơn 24.000 ha diện tích rừng ngập mặn, rừng đầu nguồn tại 11 tỉnh, thành phố; xây dựng gần 30.000 nhà chữ thập đỏ; tổ chức mạng lưới các kho hàng cứu trợ tại các khu vực người dân dễ bị tổn thương do thiên tai gây ra.
