Dựa vào lý thuyết của Kolb’s experi

Dựa vào lý thuyết của Kolb’s experiential learning style, hai nhà khoa học Peter Honey và Alan Mumford đã phát triển thành Honey and Mumford’s learning style, đưa ra 4 kiểu học (activist, reflector, theorist and pragmatist) và đã được áp dụng rộng rãi nhằm giúp the learner biết được phong cách học tập của họ và xác định công việc phù hợp với phong cách học tập đó.
Activist: là những cá nhân mà thường thích bản thân tự thực hiện, giải quyết công việc hay vấn đề của họ, và họ sẽ “try anything once”. Họ có xu hướng thích trải nghiệm những điều mới và họ luôn cố gắng để thực hiện tốt công việc của mình.
Reflector: là những cá nhân mà thường thích quan sát, suy nghĩ và đánh giá về những việc đã xảy ra. Họ có xu hướng nhìn và lắng nghe người khác, họ suy nghĩ rất thận trọng, họ tiếp nhận thông tin và sàng lọc nó một cách kĩ lưỡng.
Theorist: là những cá nhân mà thường suy nghĩ về một công việc thông qua các vấn đề một cách hợp lý và khách quan, đồng hóa những sự kiện riêng lẻ thành một lý thuyết mạch lạc. Họ có xu hướng đưa các công việc vào một trật tự nhất định, họ mang tính kỉ luật cao.
Pragmatist: là những cá nhân mà thường suy nghĩ về những cách thức để đưa những gì học được vào trong thực tế. Họ thường không quan tâm đến những khái niệm trừu tượng, họ biến những lý thuyết suông thành hành động vào trong thế giới thực tại. Họ có xu hướng thích tìm kiếm những ý tưởng và những trải nghiệm mới mẻ.

They are often not interested in abstract concepts, they turn such theories into action in the real world. They tend to prefer looking for ideas and new experiences.
