Mỗi hãng có những yêu cầu nhất định để có thể trải nghiệm công nghệ thực tế ảo (VR) một cách hài lòng nhất.
Nếu Oculus yêu cầu 1 chiếc PC cấu hình khá mạnh ở thời điểm hiện tại (3/2016) Tham khảo cấu hình ở đây.
Playstation VR yêu cầu có 1 chiếc PS4, Microsoft thì chưa công bố những điều kiện cụ thế để có thể trải nghiệm Hololens (về phần cứng hổ trợ cũng như về giá thành)
Gear VR của Samsung yêu cầu điện thoại Android phải là những chiếc cao cấp của hãng: Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, Note 5, S7 Edge, S7…
Có 1 đặc điểm chung là tất cả các loại kính VR hiện nay đều yêu cầu giá thành hoặc điều kiện khá cao, Với kính thực tế ảo đơn giản (Google cardboard) và 1 chiếc điện thoại Android, chúng ta hoàn toàn có thể trải nghiệm công nghệ Thực Tế Ảo hiện nay một cách viên mãn nhất.
II. Phần cứng yêu cầu

Để có thể trải nghiệm công nghệ thực tế ảo trên nền Android này đòi hỏi có 2 phần cứng cơ bản :
1: Thiết bị: 1 chiếc kính thực tế ảo Google cardboad ( 2 thấu kính hội tụ tiêu cự 45mm ) hoặc có thể tìm mua các loại kính thực tế ảo bằng nhựa được bán khá rộng rãi trên thị trường hiện nay như (VR box, Shinecon, Xiaozhai, VR abx xyz..). Bản thân mình cũng trải nghiệm rất nhiều loại như dạng này, về phần ưu-nhược điểm của các loại kính này Khánh sẽ chia sẽ thêm ở Topic nhé!

Ở phần xem phim 3D này, hình ảnh muốn hiển thị dưới kính VR dùng cho Android thì định dạng phải là SBS (Side by side), lúc này hình ảnh trển điện thoải là 2 hình ảnh giống nhau , đối xứng nhau, khi kết hợp với kính VR hai hình ảnh sẽ chồng lên nhau tạo ra hiệu ứng 3D
