Đài Loan là thị trường tiêu thụ sản phẩm lớn nhất của VIHIMEX.Mặt hàng chủ lực của VIHIMEX khi tấn công vào thị trường này là giấy xốp. Hiện nay, công suất sản xuất giấy xốp xuất khẩu của VIHIMEX bình quân là 480 đến 500 tấn/tháng. Tuy nhiên, việc xuất khẩu đang có chiều hướng giảm đi, nguyên nhân chủ yếu là do sự cạnh tranh gay gắt của các đối thủ đến từ Trung Quốc và Malaysia.
• Thị trường Campuchia
Đây là thị trường xuất khẩu lớn thứ hai của VIHIMEX. Sản phẩm khăn giấy là mặt hàng chiến lược mà VIHIMEX nhắm tới thị trường này. Sản phẩm khăn giấy của VIHIMEX được thị trường Campuchia chấp nhận và tin tưởng về tiêu chuẩn và chất lượng. Độ tin cậy được thể hiện qua chiều hướng tăng cao về sản lượng tiêu thụ các mặt hàng giấy của VIHIMEX.
• Thị trường Mỹ
Các sản phẩm xuất khẩu của VIHIMEX tại thị trường Mỹ là giấy về sinh, giấy Duplex và giấy carton. Với tỷ lệ sản lượng xuất khẩu không cao do hiện nay VIHIMEX đang tập trung chủ yếu để phát triển ở thị trường nội địa đồng thời giữ vững các thị trường lớn như Đài Loan và Campuchia nên VIHIMEX chưa tập trung để phát triển ở thị trường này.
• Thị trường Singapore
Mặt hàng xuất khẩu nhiều nhất tại thị trường Singapore là các sản phẩm giấy ống nòng hay còn gọi là nòng giấy công nghiệp. Tuy VIHIMEX chỉ mới xuất khẩu sang thị trường Singapore kể từ năm 2006 nhưng tỷ lệ tiêu thụ sản phẩm tăng khá nhanh, điều này cho thấy sản phẩm nòng giấy của VIHIMEX rất được ưa chuộng trong ngành công nghiệp đóng hộp giấy.
