Đến với nghề Hướng dẫn viên du lịch, vừa đi làm, vừa đi học, vừa đi chơi phải nói là được rất nhiều. Song để thỏa mãn được những điều đó, tồn tại được với nghề thì phải không ngừng trau dồi, học hỏi. Kiến thức ở trường chỉ là nền tảng ban đầu, kiến thức thực tế mới là cả kho tàng mình phải dầy công khai thác. Công việc này đòi hỏi vốn kiến thức rất rộng, có thể không chuyên sâu, nhưng phải bao quát nhiều lĩnh vực, nhiều góc độ. Như vậy, không có cách nào khác, tôi luôn nỗ lực tìm tòi, học hỏi từ bạn bè đồng nghiệp, từ những tĩnh huống thực tế và học từ chính du khách. Để du khách thấy chuyến đi thật sự thú vị, thông tin phải hấp dẫn, luôn được làm mới, không theo lối mòn. Thành quả lớn nhất qua mỗi chuyến đi là du khách thấy thú vị và hài lòng. Mình đã góp phần nhỏ bé qua các bài học lịch sử, địa lý, văn hóa địa phương, giúp du khách hiểu hơn về các vùng miền và ngày càng thêm yêu quê hương đất nước. Những thành quả đó chính là động lực, thôi thúc tôi phải đào sâu học hỏi, trang bị đầy đủ những kiến thức và kỹ năng để mang lại nhiều chuyến đi hấp dẫn, an toàn và thú vị.
