Vũng Tàu là một thành phố ven biển

Vũng Tàu là một thành phố ven biển nên nơi đây có những bãi biển lý tưởng để du khách nghỉ mát và tắm biển. Bãi Sau là một trong nhứng bãi biển đẹp của Việt Nam còn có tên gọi là Thùy Vân(Thùy Dương). Nằm phía Nam Vũng Tàu kéo dài từ chân Núi Nhỏ chạy dài gần 10km đến Cửa Lấp, bãi cát dài phẳng, nước biển sạch, trong xanh, sóng lớn. Mặt trước là biển Đông, phía sau là những đồi cát trắng và rừng phi lao ngút ngàn. Một bãi Sau với nét đẹp dịu dàng và rực rỡ, một bãi Trước lộng lẫy, và Vũng Tàu còn có bãi Dâu yên bình. Trái ngược với Núi Lớn, Núi Nhỏ tọa lạc về phía Nam của thành phố và có tên gọi khác là Tao Phùng. Nơi đây là một quần thể cây xanh, am,chùa, miếu, cốc và núi non. Ẩn hiện theo sườn núi là những ngôi chùa Hang, chùa Đại Tùng Lâm, chùa Tây Phương,..mang nhiều giá trị về mặt tôn giáo.
