Ngày 20/02/2013, Ngân hàng Thế giới đã có thư không phản đối cho thương thảo hợp đồng với gói thầu CT-CS-4.14B.
Ngày 12/03/2013, Ngân hàng Thế giới đã có thư không phản đối cho thương thảo hợp đồng với gói thầu CT-CS-4.14A.
Hiện nay, Ban Quản lý dự án Nâng cấp đô thị vùng đồng bằng sông Cửu Long – Tiểu dự án thành phố Cần Thơ (Ban QLDA) đang thực hiện lập TOR cho 02 gói thầu giám sát thi công – giai đoạn 2. Theo đó, ban QLDA nhận thấy không nên đưa yêu cầu nhiệm vụ hỗ trợ kỹ thuật nằm trong gói thầu giám sát thi công. Dựa vào kinh nghiệm đã thực hiện tuyển chọn tư vấn giám sát cho giai đoạn 1, Ban QLDA sẽ mất ít nhất 10 tháng để tuyển chọn đơn vị giám sát thi công. Theo đó, ban QLDA đề nghị Ngân hàng Thế giới chấp thuận cho Ban QLDA tiếp tục gia hạn thời gian thực hiện hợp đồng của 02 gói thầu CT-CS-4.14A và CT-CS-4.14B, cụ thể:
1. Thời gian thực hiện Hợp đồng của 02 gói thầu đã ký:
- Gói thầu CT-CS-4.14A: thời gian của chuyên gia thực hiện công việc tại Cần Thơ sẽ kết thúc vào tháng 03-2014 và nhiệm vụ còn lại của hợp đồng này là chuyên gia sẽ tư vấn thực hiện tại quốc tịch của chuyên gia này.
- Gói thầu CT-CS-4.14B: thời gian của chuyên gia thực hiện công việc tại Cần Thơ sẽ kết thúc vào tháng 09-2014.
2. Hiện nay, Ban QLDA đang chuẩn bị tuyển chọn 02 đơn vị tư vấn giám sát thi công cho các gói thầu xây lắp – giai đoạn 2. Theo đó, Ban QLDA đang giao 02 chuyên gia tư vấn hoàn chỉnh TOR và lập HSMT cho 02 gói thầu giám sát thi công trên cơ sở TOR đã được Ngân hàng Thế giới không phản đối áp dụng cho 06 thành phố của dự án đồng bằng sông Cửu Long. Do vậy, để đáp ứng tiến độ dự án, ban QLDA đề nghị gia hạn thời gian thực hiện hợp đồng của 02 chuyên gia thêm 09 tháng nhằm hỗ trợ cho Ban QLDA trong việc tuyển chọn

Accordingly, PMB World Bank recommended approval for continued extension PMU execution time of 02 contract packages ct-ct-al-al-4.14a and 4.14b, namely:
1.execution time of 02 contracts signed packages:
- ct-cs package-4.14a: real-time expert in Can Tho work will end on May 03-2014 and remaining tasks This contract is consulting experts will perform in this expert's nationality.
- Ct-cs package-4.14b:time professionals do the job in Can Tho will end on May 09-2014.
2. current PMU is preparing 02 selected consultant construction supervision for the construction package - Phase 2. accordingly,PMU is allocated 02 consultants tor complete set of bidding documents and bid packages for 02 construction supervision on the basis tor the World Bank was not opposed to the application of project 06 cities Mekong Delta . Therefore, to meet the project schedule,PMU for extension of the contract performance period of 09 months 02 more experts to assist in the selection PMU
we hope and wish no objection of the World Bank or comments.

2. Currently, the Pmu is preparing a selection unit 02 supervision consultant for construction bids – phase 2. Accordingly, PMU are delivered complete consultants 02 TOR and created HSMT for 02 supervision package based on the TOR was the World Bank no objection applies to 6 cities in Mekong Delta project. Therefore, to meet the progress of the project, PMU proposes extension of duration of contracts in 02/09 additional experts to assist Pmu in recruitment
