Thành lập nhóm thanh tra giám sát môi trường không khói thuốc lá


Việt Nam sẽ thành lập nhóm hành động chuyên giám sát việc thực hiện môi trường không khói thuốc và thiết lập đường dây nóng phản ánh vi phạm.

Từ kết quả cuộc điều tra sử dụng thuốc lá của người trưởng thành năm 2015 có thể thấy rõ tác động của các biện pháp phòng chống tác hại của thuốc lá tại Việt Nam. Kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy, mặc dù tỷ lệ hút thuốc chưa giảm đáng kể nhưng tình trạng tiếp xúc với khói thuốc thụ động tại nhà, nơi làm việc và nơi công cộng đã giảm một cách đáng kể tại Việt Nam.

Phát biểu tại buổi lễ míttinh, Thứ trưởng Bộ Y tế Nguyễn Viết Tiến nhấn mạnh, hút thuốc lá là nguyên nhân của 25 căn bệnh trong đó có ung thư phổi, ung thư vòm họng, phổi tắc nghẽn và nhồi máu cơ tim.
