This giant dinosaur species 6.5 meters long, lived in Argentina Cretaceous period about 80 million years ago.
"We know very little about dinosaurs Murusraptor" - archaeologist Rodolfo Coria, a member of the research team said. Together with his colleague Professor Philip Currie of the University of Alberta, he Coria gave some description of the characteristics of this new species of dinosaur.
"From the same geological formation, we has collected a number of parts of the dinosaur fossil giant long-necked (sauropods) and pine wood surrounding fossil area. The results showed that the area is inhabited by many species of dinosaurs, crocodiles, turtles and some small mammals. We think of carnivores Murusraptor and their prey species are the aforementioned "- he said Coria.
