Thủ tướng Nguyễn Tấn Dũng: "Trong chiến lược phát triển đến năm 2020, du
lịch Việt Nam sẽ trở thành một ngành kinh tế mũi nhọn với tính chuyên nghiệp
cao, hệ thống cơ sở hạ tầng toàn diện và hiện đại, sản phẩm chất lượng cao, đậm đà
bản sắc dân tộc, đủ năng lực cạnh tranh với các nước khác trong khu vực. Cho đến
năm 2030, cả nước sẽ có một ngành du lịch phát triển với tốc độ tăng trưởng
trung bình 11,5-12 % mỗi năm cho giai đoạn 2011-2020. "
