 Nước thải của các công nhân vận hành khoảng 7,5m3/ngđ. Nhà vệ sinh đã được bố trí trong khuôn viên nhà vận hành, đồng thời giáo dục ý thức công nhân về vệ sinh cá nhân và bảo vệ môi trường;
 Tại các hạng mục công trình có bố trí thiết bị sử dụng nước và thiết bị vệ sinh, có bể tự hoại 3 ngăn đạt tiêu chuẩn thiết kế. Bể tự hoại là công trình thực hiện đồng thời làm hai chức năng: lắng và phân hủy cặn lắng.
 Tại bể tự hoại, cặn lắng giữ lại trong bể được hút từ 2-3 năm/lần, dưới tác dụng của các vi sinh vật kỵ khí, các chất hữu cơ (chất bẩn) được phân hủy một phần tạo thành các chất khí và một phần tạo thành các chất vô cơ hòa tan. Chất thải sẽ được phân hủy, đồng thời nước cũng được làm sạch một phần và được dẫn qua bể xử lý sinh học hiếu khí trước khi cho tự thấm, còn cặn lắng sẽ được hút định kỳ.
Ưu điểm: Có tính khả thi, dễ thực hiện.
Nhược điểm: Tăng chi phí để xây dựng bể tự hoại thu gom và xử lý.
Hiệu quả: Tác động sẽ được hạn chế tối đa khi áp dụng các biện pháp trên.
