Về mặt cấu tạo, S-Tronic sử dụng 2 bộ đĩa ma sát hoạt động độc lập để dẫn động cho 2 trục lồng vào nhau và trên các trục này lắp các bánh răng dẫn động tới các tay số. Trên trục thứ 2 bên ngoài lắp đặt các bánh răng dẫn động các số 2, 4, 6, trong khi đó trục 1 (lồng bên trong trục 2) bố trí các bánh răng dẫn động các số lẻ 1, 3, 7, 5.

On the structural side, S-Tronic used 2 sets of friction disc standalone operations to operate for 2 shaft interlocking and on this shaft driven gears mounted to the hand. On the second shaft outside installation the gears driving the numbers 2, 4, 6, whereas the shaft 1 (cage inside the shaft 2) arrange the gears driving the odd numbers 1, 3, 7, 5.
