Hạnh phúc là cảm giác sung sướng , mãn nguyện vì cảm thấy hoàn toàn đạt được những gì mong muốn, còn tiền bạc là những đồng tiền dùng để chi tieu và sử dụng. Giữa tiền bạc và hạnh phúc có một mối quan hệ khăng khít với nhau.

Không ăn uống, không có những điều kiện tối thiểu để sinh hoạt, chắc chắn sức khoẻ của chúng ta sẽ bị giảm sút và kéo theo đó là rất nhiều hệ luỵ, việc khám chữa bệnh sẽ gặp nhiều khó khăn, kết quả học tập và làm việc sẽ không được đảm bảo.
Bên cạnh những giá trị vật chất, chúng ta còn đáp ứng được những giá trị tinh thần khi có tiền. Chúng ta có thể tổ chức đi chới vào những ngày cuối tuần, hay đơn giản là những hoạt động, dịch vụ như Internet, điện thoại, xem phim.... phải có tiền thì chúng ta mới có thể chi trả cho những hoạt động đó.
