Mỗi trận đấu sẽ bao gồm 3 hiệp. Mỗi hiệp sẽ đánh tới 11 điểm, sau 2 điểm sẽ đổi người giao bóng. Trường hợp số điểm của cả hai vận động viên giống nhau thì sẽ đánh tới khi cách biệt 2 điểm, nhưng không quá 15 điểm. Vận động viên nào đạt được điểm số 15 trước sẽ thắng. Vận động viên thắng hai trong ba hiệp sẽ giành phần thắng cho cả trận đấu.
