Với những bạn đăng ký domain hoặc dịch vụ nào đó lần đầu trên GoDaddy, thường sau vài ngày đăng nhập sẽ nhận được thông báo cần Unlock tài khoản. Các bạn cứ bình tĩnh và thực hiện theo như hướng dẫn bên dưới là được.
Các giao dịch trực tuyến xuất phát từ Việt Nam thường sẽ bị yêu cầu verify tài khoản, không chỉ ở GoDaddy mà còn ở các nhà cung cấp domain/hosting khác nữa.
Thông thường bạn chỉ phải thực hiện verify 1 lần duy nhất lúc đầu mà thôi, những lần sau giao dịch sẽ không bị yêu cầu gì cả.
Nội dung thông báo bạn nhận được từ GoDaddy sẽ như thế này: "Your account has been selected by our verification office to confirm recent purchase activity. This precautionary step is taken as a security measure to defend you, our valued customer, from online predators and identity theft. To substantiate this account, please take a few moments to upload the payment method account holder’s identification. Acceptable forms of identification are government issued photo documents such as a driver’s license or passport. These actions are not intended to implicate involvement in spurious purchase activity. Providing the requested documentation ensures the integrity of your payment method is preserved through substantial validation".
Để tiến hành Unlock tài khoản GoDaddy, bạn chỉ cần sử dụng điện thoại hoặc máy ảnh chụp lại 2 mặt thẻ CMND (không cần scan, đảm bảo chữ đọc rõ ràng, không bị tẩy xóa) và gửi lại theo form kia.
Trong phần Enter Comments bạn có thể viết một vài nội dung cho lịch sự, ví dụ như: “Hello. These are my government issued photo IDs.”
Sau khi gửi, bạn đợi một thời gian và sẽ nhận được thông báo của GoDaddy.
