Còn quá nhiều nơi mà các hoạt động từ thiện không thể với tới được, cũng như cánh tay của một người quá ngắn và yếu để có thể cứu giúp hết mọi người trên thế giới. Thế nên hiện nay đang có rất nhiều hoạt động kêu gọi sự quan tâm của cộng đồng đến những người kém may mắn khi mắc phải căn bệnh hiểm nghèo này.
