Bảo vệ môi trường và chống Biến đổi khí hậu là những chủ đề lớn có tính cấp bách của toàn nhân loại hiện nay. Nghị định thư Kyoto và hội thảo Copenhagen với sự tham gia của 192 quốc gia trên thế giới là những minh chứng rõ ràng về điều ấy.
Vậy tại sao thế giới lại quan tâm đến vấn đề này như vậy? để hiểu được điều ấy trước hết chúng ta hãy tìm hiểu thế nào là MT và Biến đổi khí hậu.
-MT bao gồm các yếu tố tự nhiên và yếu tố vật chất nhân tạo, quan hệ mật thiết với nhau, bao quanh con người, có ảnh hưởng đến sản xuất, sự tồn tại phát triển của con người và thiên nhiên. (luật Bảo vệ môi trường Việt Nam).
- Biến đổi khí hậu là “những ảnh hưởng có hại của biến đổi khí hậu”, là những biến đổi trong môi trường vật lý hoặc sinh học gây ra những ảnh hưởng có hại đáng kể đến thành phần, khả năng phục hồi hoặc sinh sản của các hệ sinh thái tự nhiên và được quản lý hoặc đến hoạt động của các hệ thống kinh tế - xã hội hoặc đến sức khỏe và phúc lợi của con người”.(Theo công ước chung của Liên Hợp Quốc về biến đổi khí hậu).
Để duy trì cuộc sống của chính mình loài người đã và đang tác động vào MT dẫn đến mất cân bằng sinh thái, gây Biến đổi khí hậu thông qua các hoạt động khai thác, đánh bắt, sản xuất thiếu đồng bộ và phi khoa học. Chính điều đó đã làm cho hành tinh của chúng ta đã và đang gánh chịu những hậu quả hết sức nghiêm trọng như hiệu ứng nhà kính, hạn hán, lũ lụt, núi lửa, động đất, bệnh tật và đói nghèo. Hẳn chúng ta còn nhớ tổn thất nặng nề mà nhân dân Nhật Bản phải gánh chịu trong thảm họa động đất – sóng thần lịch sử vừa qua với 15.854 người thiệt mạng, 9.677 người bị thương và 3.155 người mất tích tại 18 tỉnh của Nhật Bản và hơn 125.000 công trình nhà ở bị hư hại hoặc phá hủy hoàn toàn. Là một đội viên đang học tập dưới mái trường Trung học cơ sở Lê Hồng Phong, tôi nhận thức sâu sắc về tầm quan trọng của việc Bảo vệ môi trường và chống Biến đổi khí hậu. Để làm được điều đó Tôi luôn phấn đấu học tập để trang bị cho mình vốn kiến thức, sự hiểu biết, từ đó định hướng và có những hành động thiết thực về Bảo vệ môi trường và chống Biến đổi khí hậu. Từ nhận thức biến thành hành động cụ thể, học sinh trường Trung học cơ sở Lê Hồng Phong đã và đang tham gia nhiều hoạt động có ý nghĩa như “đoạn đường em chăm”, xây dựng cổng trường xanh-sạch-đẹp; luôn luôn vệ sinh môi trường để tạo nên một khuôn viên trường học thân thiện, sạch sẽ, xanh tươi. Hi vọng những hành động nhỏ, việc làm thiết thực đó của chúng tôi sẽ tạo ra những mảnh vá nhỏ để nhập vào những những mảnh vá lớn của toàn cộng đồng góp phần làm cho hành tinh chúng ta ngày càng tươi đẹp. Vì một hành tinh xanh, bạn và tôi hãy chung tay chống Biến đổi khí hậu và Bảo vệ môi trường nhé.
