Trong năm 2013, nhu cầu vốn ngắn hạn từ phía doanh nghiệp tăng đáng kể, biểu hiện bằng việc dư nợ cho vay KHDN của GPD từ 48,722 triệu đồng năm 2012 tăng lên 74,388 triệu đồng năm 2013, tốc độ tăng 52.68% tương đương 25,667 triệu đồng. Nhu cầu vốn trung dài hạn cũng đạt mức tăng xấp xỉ, tăng từ 29,804 triệu đồng vào năm 2012 lên 43,397 triệu đồng vào năm 2013. Cơ cấu dư nợ cho vay trong giai đoạn này không có thay đổi đáng kể. Tỷ trọng dư nợ ngắn hạn tăng nhẹ từ 62.05% lên 63.16%, tỷ trọng dư nợ trung dài hạn cũng theo đó giảm nhẹ.
Trong giai đoạn 2013-2014 có sự thay đổi trong nhu cầu vốn của doanh nghiệp dẫn đến sự thay đổi tương đối lớn trong cơ cấu dư nợ cho vay của PGD Trung Chánh. Nhu cầu vốn trung dài hạn tăng nhanh trong khi nhu cầu vốn ngắn hạn lại đạt mức tăng trưởng âm. Dư nợ cho vay trung dài hạn tăng lên 50.07%, tương đương 65,127 triệu đồng vào năm 2014, chiếm tỷ trọng 47.35% trong cơ cấu dư nợ cho vay KHDN, so với những năm trước đó chỉ khoảng 37%. Trong khi đó, dư nợ cho vay ngắn hạn năm 2014 giảm 2.67% xuống còn 72,404 triệu đồng. Tỷ trọng dư nợ ngắn hạn của KHDN tại PGD giảm còn 52.65%.
